Baby Brother On The Way!

We went Tuesday for an ultrasound and we are pretty sure its a boy. Did not get exactly what we wanted for Christmas but another amazing blessing who I can't wait to hold. Its been a difficult past couple of days. I did not realize my desire for a baby girl was so strong. Everyone keeps saying "try again", but I really don't see myself having three children. I am trying to cope with the idea that I will never have a little girl. All my hopes and dreams for "Grace" feel gone out the window. I am excited about Matthew having a brother close to his age, I am sure they will be Best Buddies. I don't have to worry about another baby shower since we have all the boy stuff we need. I know I will love this baby with all my heart and look forward to my beautiful family expanding. I go back for another ultrasound January 5th and if anything changes I will be sure to post!

Holiday Break & How About Dem Saints!!!

Billy is done with school for a little while and managed to make some amazing grades. Only one "C", which is awesome considering his work schedule and responsibilities as a hard working family man. I am sooo proud of him! I am still in school until the 22nd and return on the 5th. This will be my only break until maternity leave in May. Christmas is approaching and I am excited to see family and friends! A lot of traveling... tomorrow I leave for the weekend to Natchitoches. Tuesday we will be in Jennings to find out if I am expecting a boy or girl! Christmas Eve and Christmas day my family will come in and I will host the fun event! The day after Christmas we are heading to Opelousas and the 27th we go to Baton Rouge for Bill's mom's side of the family gathering. Billy leaves the 28th for his snowboarding trip and I will be in Slidell visiting my grandmother and family for a couple of days!!! Busy next couple of weeks! I am going to do my best to relax and enjoy every minute of not being in school.

So..HOW ABOUT DEM SAINTS! My house is extremely excited about our 13-0 accomplishment. We are crossing our fingers for them to go all the way to the Super Bowl! Maybe they will play the Colts, who are also undefeated..chances are slim, but wouldn't that be an awesome game!!? Playing the Cowgirls tomorrow..shouldn't be too much of a challenge. WHO DAT!!!

Here is Matthew's Santa picture from this year...he is in love with him! Most kids aren't but my kid did not want to leave his side! He ran up to him and said "Hold me Santa!" Then we were leaving Matthew blew him kisses and gave him a wonderful goodbye. It was hilarious and the picture tells it all...Happy Holidays!

Update From The Fontenots

Have not posted in a while..been really busy with school and life in general lately. Billy is always gone and busy with either homework, school or work. I have been sooo tired and sick with this pregnancy, but luckily its getting better. Matthew knows all his ABC's! He says full sentences like "I love you Mama" and "I made a mess!" Hes doing better with going in the potty but I can't quite get the pee pee part down. My belly is growing slowly, not like last pregnancy. With Matthew I was big fast! There is some confusion with my due date. According to my last period and all the facts I am due May 7th. The ultrasound disagrees with me and states my due date is May 21st. Either way I don't care, I just wish I knew! There is no way it can be May 21st because that would mean that i had my period during the week we were trying to convieve. I will be shocked if I am wrong lol. Billy is doing well..he was the only one chose out of his class to help with research projects for Civil Engineering at UL. He has his own office and gets paid a descent amount of money for his time. I am super proud of him..hes modest but basically hes the smartest one in his class! I could never be so good at the things he accomplishes. I went to visit my good friend Becca and she just had a baby girl. It definatley gave me baby girl fever. Matthew was there and he did not react so well to me holding another baby. He mostly wanted to hold her and play. He kept trying to put his pacifer in her mouth and wanted me to hold the both of them. Been thinking on how I can teach him how to cope with a new baby. Halloween was awesome! He was wore out from all the running around we did, but he had so much fun. Holidays are approaching and my first nephew is almost here (Adi's baby)! Lots to look forward to..oh and how can I forget..how about dem Saints!!!? Here are some recent photos.

The Symptoms Begin!

I have been really nauseated lately..and the past couple of days I can't stop puking. I am starting to feel really tired, but have no time to sleep because of Matthew and school. I have not had much of an appetite either. This is a lot different from my first pregnancy...looking forward to the 2nd trimester! Go to the doctor on the 30th..!

Latest News...

So I have not posted in a while! Matthew is in the process of becoming potty trained. He is only 19 months, but he understand the concept. He has used the potty three times and we make the hugest deal out of this event! All he does is talk and Matthew has learned his manners. We went shopping the other day and he bumped into someone and immediately he said "Excuse Me". Then I was checking out and when she handed me the receipt he beat me in saying "Thank you"! His daddy gets most of the credit with this, since hes been doing more of the forcing of Please and Thank you. Matthew is doing really well with knowing his colors and ABC's. He knows certain letters and colors and if he sees one he is familiar with he will tell you! He really has the best personality and brings so much joy to my life. Billy is back at school, pursuing a degree in civil engineering. The classes are difficult, but he is really disciplined and intelligent. He walks to school on most day, but sometimes Matthew and I will bring him. He is still at work and balancing the two of them can be a huge struggle. I should have a degree by June or July and I can't wait! My sister Tasha got into clinicals in Shreveport and I am so proud of her. Billy's sister Adrienne is pregnant with her first child and we are super excited! In other news...
I'M PREGNANT! I took a test yesterday and it was positive! From my calculations we conceived around the 12th of August, so the baby should be born around May 20, 2010. I am super excited! While Billy was at school I told the world and when he got home him and Matthew took a nap. Once they were up I taped a sign to Matthew's back saying "I'M A BIG BROTHER!" Billy saw Matthew grabbing at his back and he was like "Whats wrong Matthew what you got going on?" and he did not see me videotaping and asked me "Baby whats Matthew got on his back?" I instructed Matthew to go to his father and Billy took the sign off and he was so happy. He looked at me realizing I had the camera and asked me if I was pregnant...I was glowing in that moment..

Big Changes Are Coming!

So Billy and I have decided to try for baby # 2! He will be returning to school in August and working. I should have my Bachelors by next summer and will most likely have to work some to bring in some income. Matthew is 17 months and is so good. I know what you are thinking...That we are Crazy! It is going to be a lot, but We both have another three years till school is out of the picture completely (I want to pursue my Masters) and I also want Matthew to be close with his sibling. I don't want to start changing diapers and starting over with a newborn in four or five years. So Matthew is in the process of getting potty trained and I am slowly starting to let the pacifier (pappy/pa-pa) dissapear. Thinking about the challenges we will face ahead only overhwhelms me, so I am going to take it a day at a time and I KNOW we will get through it! We read "How To Choose The Sex Of Your Child" in attempts to make a little girl. I really desire a little baby girl and trying to choose the sex of the child is pretty difficult! I will take a pregnancy test at the end of this month and let everyone know if there is any news!

After Vacation!

Vacation was Awesome! I had a three week break from school and filled all of it up with good fun and relaxiation! I spent quality time with Matthew and also put myself first for once! I got to spend time on the beach with my hubby, which was great! I traveled a lot...Slidell, Gulf Shores, Covington and Natchitoches! I spent a lot of time with my sister and my good friends and I miss them sooo much! Billy and I attended a concert Sunday with Tasha, Danny B. Sam and a some more friends and had a great time! I had a difficult time adjusting back to reality once it was all over! I have not been to the gym yet and I can tell!! I have been getting a little time in at home to work out..but need to get to the gym to shed pounds ( think I gained a few during break!) Billy has his schedule for school and I am nervous! Big changes are coming at the end of the summer..I will most likely have to work and we are planning to make another baby at the end of August! I am getting nervous about the changes, but I will except the challenges with my head held high! I am already back in school, my abnormal psychology class started Tuesday and I am actually excited about it! I don't think it is going to be as difficult as my last class and most of the material seems very interesting! Matthew is showing off a lot these days..he is VERY intelligent and friendly! He says a lot of different words and comes up with something new to show me everday! He waves and says hi to every stranger and is constantly making me and his daddy laugh till we cry! Billy is almost perfect in my eyes...he works so hard and never complains! We enjoy our times together..he recently just purchased a new laptop for school. Anyone want to buy an older laptop!?! Hopefully we can sale it and get some much needed cash! Other then that its a busy next three weeks!

My Sister's Keeper..Wanna See Movie!

Okay so this movie comes out June 26 and I am dying to see it..I love Cameron Diaz and this trailer alone just makes me want to get some popcorn and a tissue box! Vacation Couldn't Come Soon Enough!

So I am really excited because Monday is my last day of school..I get a three week break!!!! My plans are to first visit my Paw Paw in Slidell for a couple of days because his days are limited. The cancer is winning and I need to spend some time with him (prayers are appreciated). Then I am going to come home clean house and pack for Alabama. I am super excited about going to the beach and having no worries!

So, yesterday I had a Food Stamps appointment at 7:30 in the morning..Matthew and I got there and waited 3 hours to be seen. The receptionists were very unfriendly and treated me horribly. After an hour of waiting Matthew of course became frustrated and started running around screaming and trying to tear the place apart. In the process of running after him someone stole my cell phone out of my purse. I had left the diaper bag on top of my purse under my chair and some awful person, who witnessed me stressing out over my precious child took it! So I was a little aggravated, but did not have a moment to take it all in..then they called my name..we went in the back and the mean ol' lady told me we made too much to receive food stamps! Not only did I waste three valuable hours of my day, my cell phone was stolen from me and for what!? Nothing..it was an awful day, but my amazing husband made it better by taking me out..we had crawfish and beer and it was awesome! Matthew is away at my mom's for the weekend so I can put all my attention on my finals! Ready for VACATION!

Updates

So..Billy is done with Chili's in Alexandria (Thank you Jesus!) and we have moved to good ol' Lafayette! So far so good..I have gotten pretty familiar with everything and I'm finding my way around. I miss my sister a lot and my close friends. I love Billy's new work schedule..I see him a lot more and that is always a good thing. He is able to spend more time with Matthew and I. My awesome in-laws got us a membership to Red's gym and we are there a lot. I Really Love my new house and dishwasher! I am adjusting well and have some old friends from Natchitoches that live here. I am still doing school online and have a little less than a year until I will have a degree in psychology. Then its off to pursue a masters (most likely through University of Laffy) Bill really likes his new job at Zea's restaurant, where he is cooking. He has moved up and his managers are constantly praising him! Matthew is perfect and he amazes me everyday! He started walking right after Easter and is now trying to run! He talks really well for his age and laughs at the simplest things (Just like his mommy!) Life is good, we are blessed and thankful!
